Each year I photograph The Westport BasketBall Association. I really have a great time shooting the kids. They really ham it up and I get cool images. I coached two teams this year. My girls 4th grade The Bobcats was a lot of fun. The 7th grade boys team, The Avengers won the championship. The basketball portraits are shot with one studio lamp that I take with me. I like to get a little drama in the lighting.

Rob and Tracy were married in a private ceremony in Darien. Mary Pugh was the Justice of the Piece, I have known her for many many years. Mary told me how she got started and how now she is the number one JP in the North east. She is very good and Mary will also take video of your ceremony. the caterer was Michael Joseph’s Fine Foods out of Darien, the food was amazing! Rob and Tracy’s children were the flower girls they were adorable.Whether it is 30 quests or 300 guests, my vision is to tell a story, the story of what just happened in a unique and creative way.

Even though it feels like it is 40 below today, spring is here! The Robins are bouncing on the lawns and the Crocus’s are popping out. Spring is also a good time to have your portrait taken. Whether you use the image for your Linkedin profile, facebook or your business newsletter, a professional portrait will give you a very clean look. Paul and Jim from James Daniel Entertainment dropped by for their portrait. Unlike many studios that give you 5 minutes to have your portrait taken and then it is on to the next one, I take my time, have coffee and find out the clients background.

Noah had his Mitzvah at The Conservative Synagogue in Westport. I am not a new face at The Synagogue. I was there when they had their ground breaking ceremony. I was hired to photograph the walk with the congregation from the old site which was above the old Baskin Robbins to the current site. It still looks brand new. Noah’s reception was held at the new Westport Inn. What was once a pool where my kids took swimming lessons is now a wonderful dining space with huge windows. Garelick and Herbs is the exclusive caterer for The Westport Inn and the food is incredible! The decoration was done by Great Event Decorations. Studio Tibi provided the entertainment and they were fabulous! It was a wonderful time.

One of my favorite service’s  that my studio offers is headshots, or executive portraits. I pack up some studio lights and stands and go to their workplace to capture images for the companies newsletter, advertising and marketing campaigns. Sometimes it is just for a Linkedin profile picture. What ever purpose it is, a professional portrait is something everyone should have. Try LLBH. I have been photographing their company for many years now. I feel like one of the family. The office is located on Riverside Avenue in Westport and it is a very comfortable well lit office with gorgeous views of downtown Westport. I feel very comfortable with them and I know they feel the same with me.
