I think I should document a series about brides I capture at their weddings and what happens to them in a year. Shawntel and Craig were married last year with a gorgeous reception at The Riverside Yacht club. Voila, a few months later and they added a little baby boy to the family! He is so cute! I love it when I can keep in contact with a couple after their wedding. We captured the happy family at Winslow Park in Westport. Shawntel and Craig are on their way to Florida for a warm and sunny life. I wish them well.

Clare is awesome! I have to say that because she is my neighbor. Clare asked me to photograph her for a business layout and “while we were there”, get some pictures with her son Ethan. No problem. I loved this because it really came out so casual and Clare’s business which is dogwalking, turned out to be a nice casual walk and shoot. I feel every business should have a professional photographer “cover them” this is a great opportunity for people to see them in a very approachable way. Become a friend of Clare’s on Facebook.

It is never too late to call me for a family portrait for the Holidays. I also offer custom gift certificates that make excellent stocking stuffers. The display you see below is from a modern family shoot. It included four 16×20 3/4 inch standout frames. I have albums available, fine art cards, custom reprints and canvas prints.

Juliette had her Mitzvah at the gorgeous Synogogue temple Shalom in Greenwich. The service was fantastic and Juliette who is an awesome violinist performed on the Beema. The reception was held at Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich and the day was spectacular. The entertainment group was Starlight Express and the energy that they brought to Juliette’s party was outrageous. Flips, hand stands, and some excellent Michael Jackson dances really brought the house down.

I told Maureen, the creator of Woodstock Hill Preserve that my fantasy was to make Jam. Yes, I will admit it. I feel that there is such a romance to making jam. The growing, picking and the cooking … with those wonderful smells. Is it 24 hours a day 7 days a week? Probably not. I have tried a few, but my favorite is blueberry, I have always been crazy about blueberry. It is so dark and rich. With a muffin and some butter, oh my! Just in time for the Holidays, Maureen asked me to photograph her package display which she created herself. Check out Maureen’s website, this is such a great gift. Hint, hint……
