Silverman’s Farm in Easton was the scene of some fun apple picking and farm animal fun. This is a must see for all during the fall. The apples are so delicious and the walk to get the apples is just as much fun. This is such a great time of year. With the change of season and the New England experience, it really does not get any better. The West Coast has its wine country but we have our apple orchards. Then a trip to The Saugatuck Harbor Yacht Club for a dock trick or treat, fantastic. At the end of our tour we experienced Jeff Arciola’s mobile Hot Dog Stand. What a great idea for a gathering, everything yummy from a truck with a chef and great service.

I photographed Melanie and Gerry’s Wedding five years ago and look what happened! Baby Margo is the new beautiful addition to the family. We took the pictures at Melanie’s Parents House at Saugatuck Shores. I am very familiar with the area because I spent my childhood hanging out with friends there. The old bridge is one of my favorite places in Westport.

For 35 years my parents owned and operated a photography business in Saugatuck. I worked alongside them and had the opportunity to meet many interesting people. One of those people was Paul Green. He would always walk in with his dog and drop off a roll of black and white film to be processed. We had many, many conversations and he always had interesting stories to tell. When I was asked to photograph the second annual “Nevah Surrendah To Parkinson’s 5k Run and Walk” with Mr Green as the honoree, I did not have to think twice. The event was held at The Saugatuck Rowing Club and it turned out to be a gorgeous day.

This is what I love about this business. I always hope that when brides hire me to photograph their wedding that it is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. One that will last forever. I photographed Chris and Sarah’s wedding four years ago and now they have a gorgeous little girl named Anna. We had a great shoot at a park close to my house.

John,
I am speechless.  You are amazing.  You channeled all of Anna’s funny faces, nuances, and personality and made them a perfect masterpiece of our little family.  Honestly, words don’t explain how grateful I am for your ability to take a simple afternoon and turn it into captured memories of a lifetime.  You have taken these important life moments and documented them.  I am in awe of what you do and how you do it.  Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

11 years ago, my father saw this dog in a magazine and told me how much he would love to have this dog. The internet was young, it was not easy to trust buying a dog from the internet, but I knew what had to be done. I bought Lexus for my father because he was not feeling well and at this point it was anything to make him happy. She did. Today is a sad day for us because we say goodbye to our little girl who brought happiness and joy to our families and many others.
