Saturday Westport was on the receiving end of a very violent storm. The winds knocked out power lines and felled lots of trees. My studio is on South Compo Rd and a very large tree fell across the street. The police responded very quickly and shut down the road. Our section of South Compo was closed for two days. Here are some photos I took and it gave my little guy Penn a chance to dance in mud puddles.
I love photographing parties! I love taking pictures. Capturing family and friends gathering for Tiffany’s Birthday Party. It was awesome! Tiffany’s mom had her birthday the day before and it was a great time. Belly dancers, great food and a casino. Wow! I am so fortunate to be a part of so many festive moments.Whether it is a wedding a mitzvah or a corporate party I truly enjoy capturing these special moments.
With the wonderful weather we are having in Connecticut, I thought it would be nice to show our latest family wandeling ( walk ). Here is a lovely shot of the kids with our awesome little puppy Lexus. She is a Kooiker Hund. A Dutch breed that I got for my father many years ago. A lot of people think she is a King Charles, but as you can see she has a long snout. Great dog for the kids and brings us lots of joy.
Diane and Kitt were married last weekend at The Indian Harbor Yacht Club! What a fantastic day it was! Kitt is by far one of the funniest groom’s I have ever met. He had me in stitches the whole day. David Foster and his staff were amazing also. If I was to get married again, it would be here. The facilities are truly amazing. The grounds are perfect for pictures, and Diane and her bridal party were great sports allowing me to photograph them in frigid temps.
I photographed Callen and Frank’s Wedding three years ago and look what happened! yes, a baby girl! They brought her in for a shoot and we had such a great time. See, even in this cold, miserable Connecticut weather, I can use my studio to capture portraits. I love shooting in studio. The lights are controlled and I have a couple of backdrops. I was thinking of getting a real old style backdrop and shooting some vintage looking portraits. Coming soon.
