I photographed Penny’s husband last year for a business portrait and they were so happy that they hired me to photograph their family at Paci Restaurant in Southport. I wanted to show this because I was on site maybe a half hour and it didn’t take long to get the images needed to make the client happy. Granted it was a Sunday and there was a storm outside, but I learned at a young age to take the world as I find it.

I always try to get a shot of everyone….here it is.

Stamford Nature Center was the perfect setting for Anna and Seth’s engagement shoot. I have been to the nature center many times, family portraits, children portraits and a few times with my four  kids. My children love the animals and running around. There are many trails and many photo opportunities. Chickens, geese and we even got a look at the otter, who I have never seen until this day. Inside it is really rustic and cozy. Even though it was very cold outside, winter did not keep us away. Here is a sample of  a wedding I shot at The Stamford Museum and Nature Center.

Samantha and Jed are getting married in September. We took an hour off to shoot an engagement  at The Waveny in New Canaan. This is one of my favorite spots in Fairfield County. They have running trails, athletic fields and you can take your dog with you. For shooting pictures they have an awesome garden a fountain and many walkways to get lost in. More pictures to come after the wedding.

Christopher and Laura are getting married in a couple of weeks. I photographed their engagement sitting at Winslow Park in Westport. It is a favorite of mine because the couple’s can bring their pooches. The grass is very long but it makes for a very nice backdrop. I always warn about ticks but hey, you have to take your chances. Christopher’s family is from The Netherlands and I look forward to shooting their wedding and practicing my Dutch with them.

My photography exposes me to many cool places. One is Boston, where Zach and Kaitlin live and the other is to Compo Beach Westport, my backyard, with Gabby and Marcus. Two very cool couples, and two totally different locations. I love getting the chance to travel and see different places, that is the Sagittarius in me. As long as I have my camera and kind of an idea, I always love the results.
