When I got the call to photograph Megan and Brian’s Wedding, I knew it was going to be a fabulous wedding. I photographed Megan’s sister’s wedding a few years ago, and their family is such a delight to work with. The wedding ceremony was at the Chapel of the Snows in Stratton Vermont. After the ceremony we took the gondola to the sumitt where we enjoyed a champagne toast. The reception was held at The Stratton Mountain Resort which was rustic but very very cozy. I really enjoy new settings such at Stratton Vermont, it gives me a chance to capture images in very unique settings. The Jay Stollman Band drove up from Westport and provided the outstanding music. The gorgeous flowers was created by Tara Pollio Designs her bouquets included really cool partridge feathers.. Chris Kim shot video, he is a lot of fun to work with.

Cheeseburger by Station Eats and vodka by Tito’s? I am so there. Near and Far asked me to photograph their Band Together gathering to raise funds for families in Fairfield County affected by Hurricane Sandy. The fundraiser was held at Fairfield Theatre Company and it was my first time at the venue. It is really such a cool spot. The seating is very close to the stage and it is very intimate. The cocktail hour with burgers and vodka was excellent and then the band played. Harman/Kardon  donated prizes and had an on site “man cave” with such really excellent electronics.

I could not help myself to shoot my youngest and oldest playing together in the snow. Thanks to a 2 hour delay Penn and Case made a cool snowman together. Case is a 7th grader at Bedford Middle School and Penn goes to A Childs Place. I can’t believe winter is here already!
