I love Longshore! It has a gorgeous tree lined entrance, fabulous waterviews, colorful gardens and a “Gatsby” like feeling caused by the domed building. The great lawn with the ocean wall makes these grounds the perfect setting for a wedding. Better yet, the perfect place to take pictures. I feel at home at The Inn, maybe it is because my studio is only a mile a way. Or maybe it is that I photograph a lot of weddings there. Either way, I love capturing events at The Inn.

Phil and Colleen brought their gorgeous baby Caileigh into the studio for an awesome shoot. This baby is so cute! She is the perfect model. I have known Phil forĀ  a long time. He is a Westport Police Officer and has rescued me from my boating adventures a few times. I hope these pictures make up for it.

Every so often, I clean out some of my old pictures and sort through old files. It is all about staying organized. My parents always had shoe boxes. I have a lot of photo boxes, proof albums and Dvd’s. I started shooting digital in 1994 so now I have 7 years of files on Disc. Here is a favorite of mine. This wedding was shot at Westchester Country Club. I love the brides expression and just the glamorous feel of the light on her.

Maria Casabianca hired me to photograph and produce her Soma Boutique Website. She is just amazing! The clothes and jewelry are a must see. The boutique is located in my old stomping grounds, Saugatuck, right by the train station in Westport. Any time I get a chance to photograph such beautiful women in a fashion setting, it really is a lot of fun. Maria shares her boutique with Jessica Ryan Salon. Hair, make up, clothes and jewelry fashion tips. It is all here. Click on any image to go to Maria’s Website!

I had the pleasure covering The near and Far Fundraiser at Mitchell’s of Westport and it was really fun. Near and Far is an all volunteer organization working to end poverty in Fairfield County. There were carnival actors walking around and doing acrobatic movements on stages, and they also mixed in models wearing the latest fashion. Their goal was to raise one million dollars.
