I love it when Alison calls me. She is the most energetic person I know and you can always crack up laughing with just a phone call. Alison is an excellent caterer. I have worked with her many times. We go way back too. Both of us are Staples High School Alumni and she is a close friend of our family. Oh, and her food is the best. Check out her website at you will not be disappointed.

Here we go again……. More snow. Here is a picture of my house under the blankets of snow. I had to climb the roof the other day to get some of the weight off. I have a funny feeling I will have to do it again! While fending off the snow, I always have time to talk with my neighbor’s dog Maddie. Enjoy the snow everyone!

I met Jen  at a Westport Chamber of Commerce meeting. She is the director at The Westport Playhouse. If you have ever been to The Westport Playhouse you would fall in love with the grounds and the architecture of the buildings. I use it a lot for my engagement shoots.  Jen and Matt were married in Greenwich. Matt’s family has belonged to the church for many years. His grandmother donated a huge clock to the church in honor of her late husband. After the ceremony we went to the infamous park. Binney Park in Old Greenwich. On any given weekend you will see at least one bridal party using the park. It is a fabulous place to take pictures. There are bridges both stone, and wooden, weeping willows which photograph really nice and a lovely pond. After the park, the reception was held at The Stamford Hilton. They did a fabulous job and the tent is really cool.

Here is a great idea for a nice wedding, Jonathan Edwards Winery. It is a real cool spot located  in North Stonington Ct,  and the website is This is the wedding of Gina and Mike. My assistant and I had such a great time photographing this wedding. I have known Gina for quite awhile because she taught my kids at pre school. I was so happy that she chose me to capture her wedding. The ceremony was held at Assumption Church in Westport. I have a wedding album that my dad photographed from Assumption Church in the 60’s it is so cool to see that my father was taking pictures from the same spot as I was… really cool. The winery is so nice, I had a chance to try the local wine and it was really good. They have a lot of gatherings going on through out the year, you should check it out.

My arms are killing me! That was some snow we had. At first I thought it was only a foot, but after shoveling for a few minutes I realized it was at 18 inches. After 4 hours of shoveling I had to get out. The kids were trying on costumes and I knew it was time. The beach is only 2 miles from my house, so I had to check it out. I saw a lot of people digging out and a few people cross country skiing. I love Longshore. Tony was prepping the ice rink and the Inn was bathed in snow. I always love a good snow fall, it seems like the perfect time to take a break. Enjoy.
