Merry Christmas everyone! This year our family joined others from our parish at Assumption Church in Westport to celebrate Christmas Eve. It is always a packed church with the Christmas Pagent. The service started at 4 but you have to get there an hour before in order to get a seat. This has become one of our favorite traditions. Our daughter was an angel and she was joined at the alter by many other angels, wise men, sheep, Mary and Joseph and can you believe a camel? I wish you all the very best in the upcoming New Year and health and happiness to all.

I love the Bakers! Jenna and Brenden have four beautiful children. Their kids are the same age as mine and we have a lot in common. Life changed this summer for them because Henry, the two-year old, was diagnosed with ALL Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Henry has gone through Chemo and spinal taps in order to fight this horrible disease. I had the privilege to photograph The Baker’s a year ago and now I met up with them at their house for another photoshoot. This time it was more emotional. Knowing what he has gone through really made me feel inspired but also scarred for him. He has so much fight. His Cancer is in remission right now, hallelujah, I just hope it will leave him forever.

Alison and Chris were married at Chapel of The Holy Spirit Church on The Sacred Heart Campus. Have you seen this church? It was my first time there and it blew me away. I love art and architecture and you have to pop in and see this. The mosaic alter, as you can see, is truly magnificent! The light is perfect and the priest is really cool. I love the shots outside the church with just the bride and groom walking along and enjoying each other. Chris’s expressions at the alter was so wonderful, you can see the love that he has for Alison. The reception was held at The Waterview in Monroe and they did such a great job. After the reception there was  a sparkler send off, you have to be careful not to catch fire. Congratulations to Chris and Alison!
